Overall, the shop was alright as in the convenience to get to its store. However, the downside of the shop was that the place gave all of us a slight discomfort due to the odor emanating from the pets in the shop. This may due to the shop being slightly packed and the air ventilation is lacking and the air circulation was all around the entrance area, so all the stench was accumulated on the front entrance. The food pet selection was surprisingly not dominant, only pet food brands made it into the shelves. There was also a pet sitter.

Overall the pet store sells a variety of pet food for all kinds of animal, but the store does not offer services such as pet hotel, pet grooming. But the environment of the place is very clean, it was cool because of the air condition, and it smells clean like a hospital. However, the pet store was very cramped due to shelves spacing, and it was not very spacious, so walking around would be a crowded even if there was a small group of people.

Pet Buddy on the exterior looks simple consisting of a large window that looks into the interior of the shop as well as a glass door with a long handle shaped like a bone. Upon entering the shop, the interior and products have been arranged neatly and looks aesthetically pleasing to they eye such as their shop color choices. The staff have been cheerfully welcoming, friendly and are always there to assist you to ensure you have a nice shopping experience as well providing pet sitting services. The slight con is that there are only a few grooming supply products that are available.

Anti-Rabies Vaccination Program, DVS & RIAMTEC

Banner by U4 students Banner  by DVS On the 12th October, 2024, Riam Institute of Technology 's students who took an MPU subject, had done a U4 project involving pet dogs vaccination for rabies. The U4 students collaborated together with Department Veterinary Service (DVS) in Miri, Sarawak to execute this program together. The execution was done in the institute's compound, Lee Teck Foo Hall at Riam Institute of Technology. DVS & U4 students with supervisor The program for the vaccination started from morning at 8.00 and ended with a smile by 12 noon. By the end of the day, an accumulated 32 pets were vaccinated.
